The Strong Female Lead

I have always been fascinated by the strong female lead. The way she walks. The way she talks. Never intimidated, rarely hesitant. She reads the room before the room catches up. She understands her beauty and femininity as power, knows when to speak, when to remain silent and when to make her move.

What fascinated me was never simply her confidence. It was her awareness.

She knows what she wants and refuses to make herself smaller to be accepted. Because being liked and being respected are not always the same thing.

Yet so many women have been taught to be agreeable, to keep the peace and put everyone else's expectations before their own.

But you cannot become the leading woman in your own story while constantly auditioning for everyone else's approval.

I studied her. Her choices, her presence, her understanding of people. And somewhere along the way, I began to embody her.

What I had been studying all along was perception, narrative and influence. That understanding became the foundation of Mara Michels PR.

I believe every woman has a strong female lead within her. A woman who trusts her judgement, knows what she wants and is no longer waiting to be chosen.

She is choosing. Because the strong female lead isn't powerful simply because everyone is watching her.

I'm a strategist at heart, with a fascination for people, characters and the stories they tell.

My background spans branding, education, leadership, media and creative development. Throughout my career, I've been drawn to understanding human behaviour, the psychology behind people's choices and the narratives that shape how we see ourselves and others.

I have a natural ability to recognise patterns, read subtle signals and break down complex situations. To me, everything is information. What people say, what they leave unsaid, and how language, presence and presentation shape perception.

My approach is intuitive, analytical and creative. I listen closely, connect the dots and I'm not afraid to explore uncomfortable truths when they reveal something worth understanding.

Whether I'm navigating complex human dynamics, developing creative talent or exploring the motivations behind a character, I bring together psychology, language and aesthetics to see the bigger picture and translate insight into strategic direction.
